BIOGRAPHY
American Grim is a New Jersey-based band known for their genre-blending sound that fuses elements of industrial metal, punk rock, and rapcore. Formed by brothers Ryan Grim (vocals) and Tres Sins (drums), alongside guitarist/programmer Mike Morello, the trio has cultivated a distinctive style that challenges societal norms and embraces themes of rebellion and individualism.
ORIGINS & MUSICAL EVOLUTION
The band's debut album, Freakshow (2017), introduced their chaotic and diverse mix of heavy styles, establishing their unique point of view in the music scene. Their follow-up, Ultra Black (2019), produced and engineered by Morello, presents a cohesive theme of turning despair into triumph. Tracks like “Nightmare,” “Ghost,” and “Gods and Kings” exemplify their commitment to blending darkness with messages of resilience and hope.
Live Performances and Touring
The band has actively toured across the United States, sharing stages with acts such as Mushroomhead and Hail Sagan. Their live performances are known for their high energy and theatrical elements, further solidifying their reputation as a dynamic force in the live music scene.
Recent Activities
As of 2025, American Grim, along with their band-owned production company Epic Earth Entertainment LLC, are continuing to tour internationally. Preparing to release a comic book and feature film, Roswell Remains, and writing album number four, American Grim, is continuing to leave their mark on the world.
